Industry minister discusses with Yandex priority projects

MOSCOW, Jan 30 (PRIME) -- Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov has met with representatives of Yandex to discuss its priority projects to minimize errors, the ministry said late on Wednesday on its website.

“At the meeting, they discussed the company’s priority projects aimed at minimizing errors due to ‘the human factor’. They include the launch of self-driving cars, a system of remote medical pre-trip checks of drivers with the use of digital technologies and a multi-media platform for Yandex.Auto cars,” the statement read.

The minister spoke to Yandex group Managing Director Tigran Khudaverdyan, Yandex.Taxi Director for Business Development Alexei Fedotov and Director of Yandex’s geo services Roman Chernin.
